Chokehold

Sorry for the long delay on postings dolly's! I have been busy, busy, busy. Anyway, it's my hope that everyone enjoyed Thanksgiving as much as I did! Spending Turkey day with friends, and family, and eating yummy food was such a nice reprieve! yeah to the holiday season!

{Loving bib necklaces for fall! I can vamp up a regular jeans and t-shirt so easily by just throwing one on, pair it with a cocktail ring or two and i feel laid back chic!}

In The Eye Of The Beholder

{Sometimes, to feel inspired, or alleviate boredom, or to cure a bad attitude, I turn to some of these still frames I have saved from here-and-there. I was trying to brainstorm on a new post when upon realizing through these images that, this is right where I am. I'm calm, still, and grateful which is the over-all feeling these images invoke in me...Enjoy! It's nice to sometimes, just "dwell in possibility".}

Sucker Punch

{Don't be alarmed if after looking at this knuckle duster clutch you seem to be seeing stars, I assume it's common, it's a total knock out. Alexander McQueen is always pushing boundaries and invoking edginess, and total lust. This brass knuckle inspired clutch flashes swarovski crystals, fresh water pearls, and skull detail. This little show stopper retails at $1,595.00, sadly at that price it's definitely a hit that hurts.}

{ I would settle for these in a heartbeat they are slightly more affordable, and by affordable I mean the lust it provokes to own one gives me such thoughts like " I Can afford to max out my credit card, collections shmelections, right?". These retail at $1,399.00}

Graffi-Couture, Vogue Paris

Vogue Paris November 2009 editorial featuring model Raquel Zimmerman, shot by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Emmanuelle Alt. The photo shoot also features artist, KAWS’ artwork.
{Amazing!! I love this concept, very super hero, very comic book, very fierce. I had to share, just look at the difference between what we saw on the runway and what translates in the pictorial. The photographer Mario Sorrenti totally captures this bad ass yet fabulous vibe. }

Birds Eye View

{When I think of feathers I think grace, softness, movement, and romance. This Trend has really taken flight appearing more frequently this fall. The look translates to whimsical and sophisticated, flowing, and sweet for me. The iconic Ginger Rodgers wore an amazing feather frock in the 1935 film "Top Hat". The times may have changed since our darling Ginger ruled the silver screen, however the overall feel is the same, not aged, nor dated, simply elegant.}

Back With A Vengeance

{Seems this trend is bleeding through the years. This 80's trend which I'm sure was a staple in your closet then, is back. Can't help but fall in love with this trend, which to my surprise looks anything but dated. I enjoy that it can be a laid back look with a t-shirt, as seen below on Ashley Tisdale. It can be worn chic, as Ashlee Simpson-Wentz wears it, Fierce thanks to Rihanna, and Beyonce, and Nicole sticks to her guns with her bohemian interpretation. All totally reinvented. Best part is, the JET jean by John Eshaya is valued at $188.00 a pair.}
